Neil follows up his debut single with an e.p. that begins with a frustrated Brexit polemic and ends with a touching and raw moment of intimacy. Recorded at home in the summer months of 2018, the Singing As You Leave e.p. evokes the lo-fi charm of the Pastels and the Vaselines, while embracing the melodic influences of heroes Teenage Fanclub, Big Star, the Beach Boys, and the ferocious indie-rock of Superchunk.
