Too Many Fireworks presents… Remove Control / Stoneage Kid / Klipsy Panda
Too Many Fireworks Booking is the label’s off-shoot DIY booking agency. We have been booking and promoting shows with a strong DIY ethic since 2001 and we’re very proud to say we do what we can to put the artists first. We have promoted shows across Glasgow, Scotland and Warsaw, Poland among others.
If you would like to work with too many fireworks to book and promote your show in Warsaw, or elsewhere in Poland, please contact Neil at firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss.
Too Many Fireworks are delighted to present Remove Control, a solo project by Berlin-based Indonesian, Tomi Simatupang.
Tomi Simatupang is a composer, performer, improviser, fretless guitarist, guitarist, body percussionist, drummer, bassist, singer, multimedia producer, arithmotonalist, critical transculturalist, musical instrument builder and poet.
He fronts a band called Remove Control, and often performs under that name as a solo artist, and it’s as a solo artist that we have him here in Warsaw.
Remove Control sounds like Psychedelic Pop that incorporates the improvisation of Jazz, the tonal complexity of serious music and exotic sounds and rhythms into classic songs.
Sharing the stage with Tomi was his friend, Stoneage Kid – Sebastian Maschat, ex-drummer of The Whitest Boy Alive.
Finally, on the bill, we have Varsovians, Klipsy Panda. The duo play an amalgam of disco, punk and performance and their music is inspired by the electro-pop of the 80s. A perfect kitschy end to the evening.
